If you enjoy finding the best possible solutions to challenging problems, to turn struggling New Zealand businesses around, a role in Business Restructuring Services could be right for you.

Business difficulties can arise from any number of causes. These include growing pains, operational mis-steps, failure to move with the times, business mismanagement and rapidly changing market conditions. Our Business Restructuring Services team work with organisations to develop a pragmatic approach to help them emerge from times of hardship wiser, stronger and more resilient.

In our team, you will work alongside businesses and stakeholders to give a fresh and objective perspective, assist in developing concise and relevant information for decision making, and help to develop and launch turnaround strategies. When business difficulties become too extreme, you will play a crucial role in the formal insolvency process, where a professional, empathetic and rational head is needed.

You will be supported in developing a strategic, commercial, logical, analytical and investigative approach to solving problems. You will also learn to build trusting relationships and guide businesses by applying  empathy, objectivity, active listening and strong communication.

Businesses will always struggle; but with your help, organisations and their stakeholders can pre-empt and navigate these difficult times and develop lasting solutions to their problems.

If you are looking for a Summer Internship or Graduate role, this is what you are likely to have studied:

  • Bachelor degree with Finance, Economics or Accounting majors
  • Bachelor of Law
  • Bachelor of Engineering
