In our Finance, Economics and Analytics team, weโ€™re looking for Summer Interns and Graduates across Tฤmaki Makaurau/Auckland and Pลneke/Wellington.

Weโ€™re looking for Summer Interns who will start with us in November 2025 and Graduates who will start with us in February 2026.

PwCโ€™s Finance, Economics and Analytics teams aim to keep organisations ahead of business and regulatory issues while finding value in a complex commercial world.

We have key capabilities in financial and economic modelling, regulatory analysis, cost modelling and pricing, as well as public policy, efficiency and effectiveness reviews in the public sector, and business case development.

As an Intern or Graduate in our team, youโ€™ll be exposed to a wide range of work. A typical day might include work on fine-tuning public policy or supporting Kiwi companies, large and small, to deliver their financial and commercial functions (and everything in between!).

Our team works with a wide range of organisations (size and industries) to help them operate more efficiently and provide better outcomes for their stakeholders. We do this by using data science to determine which services provide the best outcomes for different groups of users, and to identify areas of society whose needs are not being met by current services.

As an Intern or Graduate in the team, you'll learn how to solve complicated problems. You'll bring a wide range of skills to your work, including (but not limited to) knowledge of mathematics, statistics and computer technologies as well as keen analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and be a strong communicator.

If you are looking for a Summer Internship or Graduate role, this is what you are likely to have studied:

  • Any Bachelor level qualification with majors/focus areas Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or Policy
  • Bachelor of Science majoring in Data Science
  • Bachelor of Computer Science
  • Bachelor of Science majoring in Mathematics or Statistics
  • Any Bachelor level degree with a Mathematics and/or Statistics focus
  • Any Bachelor level degree with a Social or Environmental Science focus

Does this sound like the perfect fit for you? Submit your application now!

Please ensure you have your CV and academic transcript ready. In the application form for this role we will also ask you to let us know if you would consider other roles, once you have filled that part out we'll take care of the rest so no need to apply more than once.

We are actively recruiting in Audit, Consulting, Deals, Financial Advisory Services and Risk Services.
